3 Important Sketching Exercises for Any Designer (Beginner)

It’s easy to forget the essentials of design sketching. Oftentimes we want to skip the basics when we are learning something new and jump straight into the advanced stuff.

In this video, you will learn of 3 important sketching exercises that I think is useful for any type of designer or illustrator.

One thing to keep in mind when learning new things is that you do have to implement what you learn. Sometimes it can feel like we’ve made progress by simply watching a video or reading a book. It makes us feel like we got one step closer to our goal when in fact nothing changed.

In order to get better, you have to implement and take action. Make a lot of mistakes as you learn so you know what not to do next time.

I hope this video is useful to you! Want more? Subscribe to my YouTube channel for hundreds of sketching videos.

Thank you for watching and keep sketching!
