Good Enough is the Enemy of Great

This is back home in Sweden in my moms house about 5 years ago. I was home for a few days from studying in Italy.

That’s my little brother on the couch. He’s probably looking for an old bicycle or car to fix up and sell. Since then he has started a business and built it up to something amazing and I couldn’t be more proud. I always knew he was going to crush it, because he is probably the most honest and hard working guy I know and he never settle for “good enough”.

He’s working 10-12 hours a day. It might sound tough, but he’s doing something he loves. I think that’s the only way to really excel in something. You gotta love it.

Do yourself a favor and don’t ever settle for “good enough”. Good enough is the enemy of Great. Find what it is you love. What’s something you miss doing if you haven’t done it for a few days? Something that pulls you in instead of someone pushes you towards. Find out what that is and then become GREAT at it. The rest somehow seem to work itself out.
