This Might Offend You

This might offend you but I always share my thoughts without filters, I don’t like polished and nice, I like honest and raw, otherwise what would be the point.

Whenever someone says I want to learn this or I want to do that and then in the same sentence says that they don’t have time, I get offended.

Why? Because not only are you wasting your time right now, you’re wasting mine as well. Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day. The president has 24 hours in a day. So when someone says “I don’t have time” it’s an excuse and it will keep you where you are until you stop making that excuse.

If you can’t, then it might be a good idea to reevaluate what you really want. Cause I can guarantee you can find 30-60 minutes per day to practice, learn, read or do what you need to do to move ahead and become great at something.

The world doesn’t reward average. You gotta be great. And to be great, you gotta have the right attitude and stop making excuses. You won’t get anything handed to you. You gotta go out there and break down the door and get it, present yourself. That’s how it works. And that’s exactly what you will do, if you want it bad enough.

Outside of your friends and family, the world doesn’t care about me or you. It cares about the value we provide. Might sound harsh but that’s how this whole thing works.

So if you find yourself making excuses, do yourself a favor and first figure out what you WANT. Make sure your energy is aligned with your goal. Then, MAKE time to go after it every single day like your life depends on it. Because in many ways, it does.
