How to Sketch Cars in Perspective
Sketching cars is a lot of fun. And I mean a lot of fun. In fact, it’s so much fun I haven’t stopped doing it since I was 3 years old.
The number one issue I come across and get questions about is how to get the sketches right in perspective. How do you get the proportions right? The wheels correct? The A-pillars, B and C-pillars and all that stuff? It’s so hard!
Actually it’s not. I’m not saying that just because I’ve been sketching these things for 30 years. There are a few little tricks that will help you get any car right in any type of perspective in a matter of minutes.
Don’t get me wrong, this requires a lot of practice. By a lot, I mean years.
But it’s something I want to show you because I know how long it took me to figure this out myself and I think it will help you out.
